Directions to American Legion Post 354 on the James River: GPS use 4517 Welby Turn, Midlothian, VA 23113 for the closest address (follow signs): From Robious Rd enter the Tarrington subdivision on to Ashwell Dr, Continue through the first traffic circle on Ashwell Dr, Continue through the second traffic circle on Ashwell Dr with the club house on your left, Make the first left on to Sherfield Rd, Make the second right on to Welby Dr, Continue on Welby Dr around to the fourth street, making a right on to Welby Turn, Continue on Welby Turn to the end of the cul-de-sac where you will find a driveway marked with a sign for Post 354, Continue on this driveway for a short distance to the Post’s parking lot.
CAPITAL TRAIL BIKE RIDE/WALK AT UPPER SHIRLEY VINEYARDS
WHEN: Sunday, June 2, 2024. Meet at 10:45 AM Ride starts promptly @ 11AM.
It’s a moderately easy 2-hour ride followed by lunch.

Bring a bike, helmet, sunscreen, water, and $$$ for your own lunch at Upper Shirley. We will ride east on the Capital Trail for 1 hour, then ride back to the Winery. After our ride, enjoy a relaxing lunch as a group at approximately 1:00 p.m. with a view of the beautiful James River.
WEATHER DEPENDENT: This ride will be CANCELLED if the weather is deemed unsuitable for riding.

POLO MATCH AT KING FAMILY VINEYARDS
Sunday, Father’s Day June 16th @ 12:00 p.m
*Gates open at 10 a.m., first polo match starts at noon
*Set-up of tents/tables & optional wine tasting in the tasting room prior to start

Join us for our annual day of wine, food and friends as we watch polo at King Family Vineyards. We will be meeting at the King Family Vineyards in the area around the field to watch exciting polo matches between local polo teams.
Please bring chairs, blankets and shade. King Family Vineyards will be selling wine from golf carts circling the field during the match. All major credit cards are accepted.
We will do potluck again – please bring a food item to share. Look for our RSC pop-up tent(s) in the circle around the field. NO ALCOHOL other than King Family wine is permitted on the premises.
Please RSVP with your contact info if you plan on attending so that we know to look for you there and to coordinate potluck details. I will send out an email to all participants about a week before the event with additional info.

The Hook, Line, and Sinker Cabins are ideally located on 3.3 acres on the Shenandoah River with beautiful views of Kennedy’s Peak of the Massanutten Mountains. The property has a large, covered Pavilion for group meals and each Cabin has its own hot tub too! Location is convenient to Shenandoah National Park, Downtown Luray (5 1/2 miles), and are located just 4 1/2 miles from Shenandoah Outfitters for all the canoe, kayak, raft, and tube activities, or we can selfdrop upriver with our own equipment at no additional cost and return to our own BASECAMP! Or hang out, float or fish at basecamp, go hiking or visit some wineries or breweries!
