Reconnect with RSC friends and make new ones on the High Bridge Trail.
Where: We’ll access the High Bridge Trail in downtown Farmville, which is less than 90 minutes from Richmond. Park at one of the free municipal parking lots.
We’ll meet at Downtown Farmville Plaza, located at 311 N Main St, at 9:45am.
The ride will begin promptly at 10am.
What to expect: The total distance of this easy ride is approximately 10 miles.
The High Bridge Trail is mostly flat, with a surface of hard-packed crushed rock.
We will ride at a leisurely pace to the majestic High Bridge. After taking in the views, we’ll return to downtown Farmville where we will gather at nearby Charley’s Waterfront Cafe for lunch on their deck overlooking the Appomattox River (optional).
Bring a bike, helmet, sunscreen, and water.
